ResponsibilitiesThe Admissions Clerk is responsible for the coordination of an effective, efficient admission process for all patients by receiving referrals, gathering and verifying pertinent information, and completing necessary procedures to schedule and admit outpatients * willing to train and learn surgery scheduling* Knowledge of insurances is helpful * Able to work independently in a fast pace environment * Positive attitude and willing to work as a team player * Able to work at 5:30am occasionally * hours 8:30-5:00pm Mon-Friday Key Responsibilities:Excellent professional, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to set prioritiesGeneral office and/or secretarial skillsAbility to multitaskAbility to work within the teamPossess knowledge of typing, word processing, spread sheet, and computer billing systems. QualificationsHigh School graduate or equivalentClerical experience, preferably in a health care environmentNon-healthcare hospitality, hostess, customer service experience will be considered USD $16.00/Hr.
