OverviewM Health Fairview Health Services is looking for a
Service and Product Assistant at the University of Minnesota
Medical Center (East Bank) in Minneapolis, MN.To receive, deliver,
replenish, clean and maintain appropriate
equipment/supplies/linen/forms. To assist with maintaining

Sunday 2PM - 10:30PMResponsibilities Job DescriptionReceive,
deliver, replenish, clean and maintain
supplies/equipment/linen/forms including: stat room, patient rooms,
inventory locations, and other areas, as appropriate.Assist with
maintaining adequate inventory levels of equipment and
supplies.Understanding of inventory control concepts with the
ability to calculate par levels and adjust levels as
vital.Coordinate the delivery of items arriving at the
dock.Assemble, apply/remove, and accurately tag/transmit, and log
into computer.Assure that excess inventory in totes is accounted
for, detailed, and accurately routed. Perform decontamination of
instruments, clean, rinse, and accurately route
utensils.Decontaminate and clean patient care equipment such as,
but not limited to: IV pumps' sequential compression devices;
syringe pumps, warmers, respiratory care equipment, blood pressure
apparatus, walkers, commodes, orthopedic apparatus, case carts,
etc.Answer telephones as needed.QualificationsRequired
EducationHigh school diploma/GED preferredRequired Experience6
months of comparable materials or related experience.Have the
ability to bend, reach, stand and lift a maximum of 75 pounds.The
qualified applicant must have excellent customer service, good
communication skills with follow through and be able to
prioritizeBe able to operate a computer for supply requests,
equipment requests, equipment tracking, and efficiency
reporting.Applicant should also be able to learn quickly, follow
directions and work independently.Preferred EducationBachelor's
Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Nursing or Related
fieldPreferred Qualifications:1-3 years health care related
experience, extensive knowledge of medical hardware/software,
medical supplies through formal education channels.Desired
Skills:Excellent customer service and communicationProficient in
the English languageAttention to detailAbility to problem solve
